LGF Fund Update
Ballast Rock has raised over $13mm of capital for the Louisiana Green Fuels project through our BR Ventures LGF Fund and the fund is now closed to new investors. Our investment has enabled the developers (Strategic Biofuels) to move forward more rapidly than they had expected to complete FEL#2 by the end of this year, rather than end of Q1 2022 as originally scheduled.
Fear Not!! We are working to offer a limited follow-on issuance for remaining investors that weren’t able to participate in the BR Venture LGF Fund.
This KISS#3 (Keep It Simple Security for FEL-3) note issuance by LGF directly will be exclusively distributed by Ballast Rock through our investor portal. It will have a $50k minimum, attractive risk-adjusted returns, but is limited in size and will only be offered through the end of February 2022.
The Strategic Biofuels team have just returned from the AFCC (Alternative Fuels and Chemical Coalition) Conference in Washington D.C. where they presented this video to industry experts and institutional investors in the renewables sector.
One of the institutional investors (that Ballast Rock has introduced to the project to invest in the upcoming FEL-3 institutional capital raise) met the team for a few hours in D.C. and said:
